A new generation in solar thermal plants
Modularity
Plant can vary-in size by scaling up the number of 100kWe basic units. Size can be customized to the client′s needs. It is not necessary to install the units on a continuous plot of land. Easy maintenance. When the turbine is inactive, for a minimum period of time, it does not affect the rest of the plant. Each unit can be erected and integrated gradually, thus minimizing risk.
Hybrid
Assures a constant flow of uninterrupted power. Provides flexibility, from solar to hybrid operative position. Works with a variety of fuels, the green ones included.
Manageable
AORA system can supply the desired electrical output 24 hours a day and deliver optimal performance. Thanks to hybridization, the plant can generate power on demand (management).
Suitable for CHP
The performance of AORA solar thermal plants can exceed 80% of its capacity since they are able to reuse the turbine′s exhaust heat, which results in more than 170kWth.
No water consumption
The AORA′s new plant is environmentally friendly because it does not use water for the electricity generation process since the steam production cycle is no longer needed as in conventional solar thermal plants. Furthermore, this has a practical advantage: in locations where there is more solar radiation, water is a scarce resource and AORA′s energy plants have managed to overcome this drawback.
